Each design is 5 x 7 so you can hoop twice or can put both in the larger 7 x 12 hoop.
The two designs side by side give a finished embroidery area of approx. 12” x 7”.
Please note the book on this design is a raw edged applique, there is no satin stitch around the edge.

Stitched this up for my granddaughter, too. Looks great! I used Ultra glitterflex for the tail. I loved how the stitching produced curls in the hair. And the poem is wonderful! I'm excited to give it to her for Christmas. I also made the Monster and Astronaut pillows for her siblings. They turned out cute, too! These designs are great.
I just made this for my granddaughter. The design sews out even nicer than it looks here. It is absolutely gorgeous. I did have to change my needle to a bigger size when I sewed out the mermaid's hair as the design is very dense. The hair is beautiful though. I just love it and am currently sewing another one as a prize for our library's summer reading program. You won't be disappointed if you purchase this!
